The mentor told me to focus on the "4 pillars" but didn't explain what they are. What is this?

I think the 4 pillars of SEO are :
- Make your site work properly
- Create good content
- Optimize that content
- Get other sites to link to you
Same thing, less jargon
Start with #2 (good content). Nothing else matters if content sucks

The 4 pillars are the basics you need to get right:
Pillar 1: technical seo
- Site loads fast
- Works on mobile
- No broken links
- Proper site structure
- This is foundation everything else sits on
Pillar 2: content
- High quality articles/videos
- Answers user intent
- Better than competition
- Regularly updated
- This is what actually ranks
Pillar 3: on-page optimization
- Keywords in right places
- Proper headers (h1, h2, h3)
- Meta descriptions
- Internal linking
- This helps search engines understand your content
Pillar 4: off-page/authority
- Backlinks from other sites
- Brand mentions
- Social signals
- This tells google you're trustworthy
Most beginners focus only on pillar 3 (keywords) and ignore the others
You need all 4 working together
