But here's the thing:
Neither platform pays well for short form content.

Real money comes from:

• Youtube long form videos ($2-5 per 1000 views)
• Brand deals
• Selling products
• Affiliates

If forced to choose: youtube shorts because:

• Better monetization
• Can convert shorts viewers to long form subscribers
• Youtube is more stable platform
• Better long term business
