I keep hearing that you need to stream on a consistent schedule but my work schedule varies week to week so i can't always stream the same days/times
Will this hurt my growth? or is it okay to stream whenever i have time as long as i'm streaming regularly?

I've grown to 120 average viewers without a consistent schedule so it's definitely possible but it's harder
what i do instead:
- announce my streams 24 hours in advance on twitter and discord
- go live at roughly the same time range (always evenings, just not the same days)
- stream at least 3-4 times per week even if the specific days change
My community adapted to checking my socials for when i'm going live rather than expecting a set schedule. it's not ideal but it works if you communicate well
That said, if you CAN have a consistent schedule you absolutely should. i'm playing on hard mode by not having one. but it's not a deal breaker if your life doesn't allow for it
