I'm at 540 subs but don't have the 1000 subs that are needed for a partner program. Is there any way to monetize before hitting 1k?

You can't get adsense with that number of subscribers but you can still make money

I made $400/month before hitting partner program through:

• Affiliate links in descriptions
• Small sponsorship deals
• Selling a $20 ebook

So, you don't have to wait for adsense to start monetizing. Those other methods often pay better anyway.

To be honest, just focus on hitting 1k first. This takes most people 6-12 months but you're already halfway there. Trying to monetize at 500 subs is a distraction from growing. Hit 1k then worry about money

I wasted 3 months trying to monetize at 800 subs instead of just making good content to get to 1k faster
