I keep seeing big youtubers quit or take long breaks. I have been noticing this for a while now and I became curious. What's really going on? Is it really that hard to make money on YouTube or what?

Burnout is brutal. posting weekly for years with no breaks is what is destroying so many people. Also algorithm anxiety has also contributed to it. One video flops and your income drops to 30%. So, that kind of stress can add up. I have seen people making 10k/month quit because they were miserable. That shows that money isn't everything. Plus audience expectations are insane now. one mistake and you get cancelled

Most people quitting either:
- Got rich and don't need youtube anymore
- Burned out from unrealistic posting schedule
- Got addicted to views and can't handle normal numbers
- Realized they built their channel on something they hate
I post twice a month and I'm fine. people posting daily are setting themselves up to quit
It's a marathon not a sprint. So, you need to pace yourself
