My RPM is $2.80 in gaming niche. feels really low. can i do anything about it?

Gaming is always low unfortunately

things that helped me go from $2.50 to $5.20:

• make videos 10+ minutes so you can add mid-roll ads
• do game reviews instead of just gameplay
• target older audience (they have more money to spend)

Won't get finance-level RPMs but you can improve a bit

Real talk: i switched from gaming to tech reviews

Gaming: needed 500k views to make $1,100
tech: need 200k views to make $1,900

if income matters to you, niche choice is everything

but don't switch if you'll hate making that content. You'll burn out fast
