I keep seeing people talk about different "types" of SEO. What does this even mean? isn't SEO just SEO?

• Stuff happening outside your site

4. Local seo

• Google my business
• Local citations
• Reviews
• Only matters if you're a local business

Start with on-page because it's easiest to control. Then work on getting backlinks. technical seo can come later

Just think about it as:

• Stuff on your site (content, keywords, structure)
• Stuff other sites say about you (backlinks)
• Technical stuff (speed, mobile)

Focus on making great content with right keywords. that's 90% of what matters

All the other stuff is minor tweaks that matter once you already have good content
